Dr. Gadasalli Selected as a 2009 "Texas Super Doctor"

Introduction

Key Professional Media asked more than 40,000 medical professionals to nominate one or more doctors, other than themselves, from specified medical specialties based on one question: "If you meeded medical care, which doctor would you choose?"

After totalling the responses, the research team also identified Texas doctors who had achieved special recognition from their peers or had demonstrated other indication of expertise in their specialties. The researchers also made sure each physician is properly licensed and has no history of disciplinary action.

In the end, Key Professional Media's list includes doctors in 32 medical practice areas. Dr. Suresh Gadasalli was chosen in the specialty of Cardiology. The following profile appeared in Texas Monthly Magazine's December, 2009 issue introducing the "Texas Super Doctors™" of 2009.

Suresh N. Gadasalli, M.D., F.A.C.C.

Dr. Suresh Gadasalli, specializing in Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiology, started his practice and made Odessa, Texas his home in 1994.

He is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease, and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and SCAI.

Dr. Gadasalli's main focus is offering comfort, convenience and the latest technology to his patients. In 2000 he inaugurated The Healthy Heart Center which maintains cardiovascular diagnostic equipment, including on-site nuclear medicine and cardiac catherization facilities. He has several outreach clinics in West Texas and is clinical associate professor at Texas Tech University Health Science Center (TTUHSC). He is involved in the teaching of medical students and residents.
